Apache Alias Module

There is another way to make your html file accessible on webserver. Instead copying all of your file to /var/www directory, you can use the Apache alias module.

Make sure you have the module is enabled. Then, add the following lines at alias.conf file

# vim /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/alias.conf

Alias /something "/media/truecrypt1/something/build/html"

Options Indexes MultiViews
AllowOverride None
Order allow,deny
Allow from all

Restart your apache, voila! Access it localhost/something

*I think I should have a more technical blog, eventhough I already have it*
